Get ready for something fun, exciting, dangerous, unusual.. yet inspiring. Last night our church, Grace Fellowship Church, hosted the world famous John Jacobs and the Next Generation Power Team. Pictured above are our Senior Pastors, Deborah and Joe Oakley. This outreach event was geared toward reaching those who rarely or have never attended a church, by performing some incredible stunts, but also bringing them a powerful message of hope and faith. The team also travels to high schools and middles schools across the country speaking on topics such as bullying, abuse and numerous other issues our children struggle with today. GFC - Worship Pastor Reggie Scott and a handful of the praise team members leading our worship service this evening.

GFC - Some of the items these guys used to show their incredible strength. Wooden baseball bats, a hammer, phone books, and you'll see in just a few pics what the soda was for.

GFC - And yes, there was some brick breaking going on as well as wooden boards being cracked over one of the guy's head.

GFC - The show started with very high intensity... breaking through a stack of 5 bricks with his elbow and then snapping a wooden bat in-two over his head.

GFC - This nice man is possibly part Incredible Hulk... he took a steel rod and bent it in a circular motion 3 times over.

GFC - Double set of brick breaking with the arms...

GFC - Yes, it really happened... Did I mention he's a former Chicago Bear football player?

GFC - This guy gave one of the most powerful and moving testimonies. He played football with the Carolina Panthers, and is said to have one of the strongest grips in the world.

GFC - At this point, Pastor Deb's nerves where all over the place. Pastor Joe volunteered to have a full, un-opened can of soda smashed across his head. He followed through with it and, well...

GFC - And for this Pastor Joe will most likely be named one of the toughest men in our church. He was still standing after the can smash. Afterwards he mentioned that the stunt was very real and hurt, too.

GFC - Handcuffs.. no match for this guy's pure physical strength. A police office on hand inspected the cuffs and applied them to the guy himself - and the dude broke them from behind his back - wow!

GFC - The best part of the night! After worshiping and singing, hearing testimonies, scripture readings, and witnesses the changed lives of people around them, all these people at the stage came forward to accept Jesus Christ into their lives. A very powerful scene it was!
